Pheasant Triptych for Thanksgiving

Growing up in the "Pheasant Capitol of Kansas," pheasants always say fall to me.  And, knowing that the opening day of pheasant season coordinate with a huge craft fair in my home town and happens in November, they seemed appropriate for a Thanksgiving card as well.

When I saw the sketch for FMS356, I was inspired to make a triptych instead of three separately stamped panels with different images.  So, I stamped the pheasant stamp on a piece of Soft Suede cardstock and then cut that one stamped piece into three panels.  I used the gold foil as the accent strip behind the triptych and also as a layer on the card front.  Although you could color in the stamped image, I didn't think it was necessary for this card.

Make sure you head over to WWC189 and FMS356 to see the inspiration cards by the design team and other creative entries.
