Humming Along for Three Different Types of Stampers #simplestamping

Welcome to the monthly Stampin' Dreams Blog Hop. This month's theme is Beginner, Casual, Avid  That's right THREE different cards for three different types of stampers using the same stamp set. You are currently visiting Angel Shaver from the USA. I hope you enjoy my project/cards.

I am using the Humming Along Stamp Set and basically the same design for each of the cards

The first card is classified for beginner stampers and uses only stamps, ink, and paper.    This is actually one of the designs we used in my Simple Stamp Class this month  The card base is Whisper White with the images stamped directly on the card front and the hummingbird and flower colored--this time with Watercolor Pencils and Blender Pens  This could actually be created by any stamper.  I myself love to use just stamp, ink, and paper especially when I'm needing multiple cards rather quickly

The second design is for the casual stamper  These are those who stamp mainly when they need a card for a specific occasion.  This  card uses a similar design with Thank you stamped on the Coastal Cabana card base with Coastal Cabana  The hummingbird and flower were stamped on a Whisper White layer and colored with Watercolor Pencils and a Blender Pen  A ribbon was added toward the bottom of the Whisper White layer along with a Thank You punched out with the Tailored Tag Punch before the card layer was adhered to the card front

For the third card, the card base and background were changed to Blushing Bride.  This card is made with the Avid Crafter in mind.  This is the stamper who stamps at least two or three times per week, if not daily  They love to try out new techniques and the newest product.   For the Avid Crafter the hummingbird and flower were colored with Stampin' Blends and cut out before being added to the top of the Garden Green paper which was embossed with the Big Shot and Layered Leaves  Embossing Folder..  Finally, Wink of Stella was added to the hummingbird's head and center of the flower and pearls were added  as an extra embellishment.

I hope the projects you've seen here on my blog today have inspired you & brightened your day. You are currently visiting Angel Shaver. Please see the list below & hop through all of the people on the list to see all our projects. You don't want to miss any!

    1. I too was scared of coloring and thought the idea that coloring could be therapeutic and relaxing silly That is until I tried it for myself. :) I have found I enjoy it more than I ever imagined I would.
