I love when a stamp set works for all seasons and is versatile for use all year. Sheltering Tree does just that This is a summer inspired card It's also a childhood inspired card How many of you had tree swings? What was you childhood bike like? I had a yellow bike with a floral banana seat. Aren't you jealous? :)
This card was my first try at the mirror technique using the Stamparatus and Silicone Sheet. If you'd like to see it done, I will be making this card on my Facebook page next Thursday at 2pm CT I'm usually live at that time, but I have a 504 meeting for my son at that time so I will be creating the video in advance. It will still be on my page at 2pm CT, but I just won't be live Don't worry I'll be checking comments and answering them later Doing 2-step stamping with the Stamparatus is great. Doing mirror stamping with the Stamparatus is great Doing 2-step, mirror stamping is harder than I thought it would be. Anyone out there have any tips for making it easier?
The colors for this card were inspired by FabFri154 The leaves on the tree are Pear Pizazz, Lemon Lime Twist, and Mint Macaron. The card base is Tranquil Tide There is Tranquil Tide and Mint Macaron in the DSP strip, The grass is Tranquil Tide and Lemon Lime Twist The bike on the front is Highland Heather and the bikes on the inside are Highland Heather and Pear Pizazz
