NEW Sale-a-bration Items Added Today

Stampin' Up! surprised us this week by adding more Sale-A-Bration items we can earn these last two weeks of March.  Sale-A-Bration ends March 31, but until then you can still earn FREE product

There are great items available for use with the BigShot, both thinlits and embossing folders.  There are also some great papers, ribbon, markers, and clear bags you can use for gift packaging.  Finally, the Color Me Happy project kit is now available.  Purchasing the stamps and stampin' blends and ink to go with it will help you earn the kit for free.

Today, I'm going to share pics of some of the projects I have made using some of the items now available in Sale-a-Bration. And, For the New Queen . . .

Ms. Wheelchair Kansas weekend comes to an end today.  To see the crowning of Ms. Wheelchair Kansas 2018 and Little Miss Wheelchair Kansas 2018 come to the Crowning Ceremony today at 2pm CT in Lawrence, Kansas.  As I'm writing this we don't know yet which amazing woman will be crowned and join the sisterhood tomorrow.  But, whichever woman it is, her card is created and ready for her.

This card may not be the Ms. Wheelchair Kansas colors of pink and blue.  In fact, looking at it just now I realized that although my own personal favorite color is purple and it seemed appropriate for royalty while I was creating this card, purple might just get me in trouble.  Oops!  We are in Lawrence, KS--home of KU, the land of blue and red, rivals to KSU (purple and grey).  Just know these colors were chosen to represent royalty.  :)

Don't forget today is the last day for the fundraiser for Little Miss Wheelchair Kansas.  10% of all orders through my store through today, will be donated to the Little Miss Wheelchair Kansas program.

This card was also created for Global Design Project 128.  Please go check out GDP128 to see the design inspiration and other creative entries.  I chose to create a card that is 5 1/2" x 3" to CASE the rectangular shape of the designer's card and also have it fit in a standard Stampin' Up! envelope.

Congratulations Princess

Ms. Wheelchair Kansas weekend is well under way and today we meet the new Little Miss Wheelchair Kansas.  She is an amazing girl who will make another excellent princess.  

This was my first attempt using the Amazing Congratulations stamp set with the Stamparatus.  As soon as I saw both of them, I knew I had to try them together.  I decided to try it out using the color from Color Inkspiration challenge #28.  They seemed the perfect colors with which to congratulate our new princess.  This card also works for SUO 195 since this happens to be my new favorite sentiment (at least for today)

Ms Wheelchair Kansas Weekend

 Today marks the start of Ms. Wheelchair Kansas weekend.  I've been busy preparing for the weekend and creating thank you cards and gifts.  Those are now all ready and I'm finishing this post while waiting for my ride.  I have decided to one again give you all an opportunity to be involved and support Ms. Wheelchair Kansas and Little Miss Wheelchair Kansas.  I am too involved with the weekend events to hold a fundraiser this weekend, but I am having an online fundraiser.  10% of all orders from today through Sunday night will be donated to Little Miss Wheelchair Kansas.  If you'd like to experience the event, the crowning ceremony will be held at the Doubletree Hotel in Lawrence, KS at 2pm CT on Sunday, March 11.  I would love to see you there, or if you can't attend you can still be a part of the online fundraiser.

Video: March Online Class Featuring Hold on to Hope Stamp Set--Week 2

It is Thursday and time once again for a Facebook LIVE and online class.  This month the featured stamp set is Hold on to Hope.  I think I've decided the floral swag is my new favorite stamp.  I love the different ways to color it to add just the right pop of color.  For this card, I used blender pens with classic stampin' pads.

Luck and a Party. What more do you need?

The moment I saw the challenge colors for #tgifc149 I thought of a St. Patrick's Day card.  I was further inspired by my four leaf clover necklace and a retired stamp set featuring clovers made with hearts.  I knew I wanted to create a four leaf clover using hearts and the sketch for CTS #93 was perfect for showcasing even more hearts coming from the frame.

 It is somewhat hard to see in the photos, but what is St. Patrick's Day without a party.  So, I added a gold heat embossed sentiment of one word--Party.  I hope you have a great St. Patrick's Day next week and find a parade to check out and some time to party.
