Global Design Project 098| Sketch Challenge--Happy Copper Anniversary!

Happy Anniversary to my wonderful husband.  Today is our 22nd  Anniversary.  Did you know that the 22nd Anniversary is the Copper Anniversary.  I sure didn't until my husband looked it up and told me.  I instantly knew that his anniversary card would need to contain the element of copper.  Even though I have copper foil on order and currently on it's way to my house, the only copper element I could work with for this card was the copper trim.  It just might be my new favorite embellishment anyway.  If you haven't had a chance to play with it yet, I highly recommend you find a reason to do so.

When I first saw the Global Design Project sketch for this week, I instantly saw the copper trim tied around the top of the card front.  What better to go with the copper trim than the Wood Textures Designer Series Paper.  It was so much fun sorting through the different Wood Textures prints to choose the ones that would go together for this card.    Since this is my anniversary card, I had to add two sweet hearts to represent us and the sentiment from the So Many Shells stamp set was perfect for this card.
