I've been dying to make a card with the Sheet Music background stamp ever since it arrived at the house. My first thought when I saw the TGIF challenge for this week was to try the emboss technique with the sheet music background stamp. I tried using the clear embossing powder with the basic black ink for the background stamp. I then used the aquapainter over the top of the embossed stamp for the ink resist. You can't really see it in the picture, but the notes do have a shimmer that shines through the watercolor wash.
This card also met the criteria for the Stampin' Up! Only challenge 180. This is a perfect birthday card, especially with the added balloons.
