They do require different coloring techniques. Both started out as white embossing paste with the seasonal masks. Then, I added eyes with a Basic Black marker for the ghosts. I wondered if the baby wipe technique would work to add color to the embossed shapes in fall colors. I was so excited when it did.
My Tic Tac Toe used autumn colors, dimension, and rounded corners.

DeleteWhat a fun creative way of showcasing the same embossing folder Angel! I love all the colours you got on your 'leaves'. Thanks for joining us at Just Add Ink this week.
ReplyDeleteThank you. I love finding multiple uses for the same tool. I love finding out the baby wipes technique worked with the embossing paste
DeleteAngel I saw your card when I linked my own entry up in the Fab Friday challenge gallery and had to pop over to say that I think your use of the stencil to create those embossed ghosts is absolutely inspired - so clever! And I got to see your gorgeous Autumn leaves too - a pair of great cards.
ReplyDeleteThank you. I always see ghosts when I see a paisley shape and thought that would make a fun card.
DeleteWhat a great idea to use the same elements for different themes. Lovely colours and fun cards Chantell Just Add Ink
ReplyDeleteThank you. I love finding more than one use for the same tool. This is the same use, but different themes, so I think that's close enough :)
DeleteOh my gosh - super clever! I love the colored EP, but my fave is totally all the little ghosts you made - awesome! Thanks so much for playing at Fab Friday!
