I think the Beautiful Peacock is my favorite from the Sale-a-bration items this year (at least for now). It was the first thing I gravitated to and one I frequently think of when I see challenges. I immediately thought of it when I saw the sketch for PCC274. I was also inspired by Kim Oliver's use of Brusho with the peacock stamp and decided I wanted to try something similar with the Aquapainter. Check out
Kim's card here.
I think the emboss resist technique makes for striking images. And I think anything with Lemon Lime Twist is going to catch your attention. I just had to use more of the tail feather swirls on the inside of the card. I think this stamp may just be in competition with the Star of Light swirl for my favorite Stampin' Up! stamp at the moment. I guess I have a thing for swirls. :) I'm not sure if you can tell from the photo, but the detail on the tiny flower stamped on the card interior is amazing.
Make sure you head on over to
PCC274 to check out the inspiration from the design team and other creative entries.

The emboss resist is a great technique and shows off the flourish from the Beautiful Peacock set. Thanks for playing along the Paper Craft Crew challenges ~ Jay
