Global Design Project 152 | CASE the Designer Janneke de Jong

This week's Global Design Project is CASE the Designer and we are CASEing Janneke de Jong. I chose to use the LIMITED TIME ONLY Stitched Season Thinlits that is part of the Blended Seasons bundle. It is only available through August 31 and I've found myself using it a lot this month. It was the first thing I thought of when choosing my design for this week's GDP.

I knew immediately I would be using some shade of purple on my card. Blackberry Bliss is my new favorite color and I am so excited it is one of the colors with the Nature's Poem DSP. That made some of the design decisions for this card much simpler. I chose the DSP featuring the Blackberry Bliss leaves and then stamped leaves in Blackberry Bliss to use as an embellishment on the front and stamped some on the card interior as well. I finished the card with the sentiment in Blackberry Bliss on the center label. The card just didn't seem finished to me at that point, so Faceted Gems to the rescue to add just a bit of bling and finish off the card.
