Global Design Project 089| Color Challenge

The minute I saw the colors for this weeks challenge, I knew I had to use the new Color Theory DSP Stack.  And, since I'm (not so) patiently waiting for my order from the new catalog to arrive, I'm pretty limited in what new products I have to play with this week and I wanted to play with new products.  I am having so much fun playing with the Happy Birthday thinlits die along with the products from the Color Theory Suite, that I decided to do yet another version of the card I used for my Aim for Alaska bloghop and we made in card class this month.

I used Old Olive for the card base, and chose Old Olive from the Color Theory DSP.  This time, I added a layer behind the DSP and used Basic Black for the layer and the thinlit.  I added a pop of Calypso Coral with the sentiment stamped under the DSP as well as the embellishments at the top of the card and stamps on the inside of the card.  This time, I chose to stack the Glitter Dots vertically instead of horizontally.

I'm so excited by these Birthday cards I'm making, that I'm a bit sad that my list of June birthdays is short compared to some other months.  The good news is we added a RAK Birthdays and Celebrations group so I have a few more I'll need to send out.  :)

Be sure you check out all the other great designs for Global Design Project 089

It's the First Day!!! and Video: Eastern Beauty Online Card 1

Today was the launch of the 2017-2018 Annual Catalog.  It was so exciting that I actually forgot to put the host set on my order that I've been waiting until June 1 to do.  CRAZY!!!  I guess that just means I'll have to place another order someday.  I'm just glad  I did not forget to order the items at the top of my list that were not on the preorder list.  I'll do an unboxing video when my box arrives.  So, we'll all just have to be in suspense a little longer.

I am glad the catalog was online and I could place my order before my LIVE video today. I would have been far too distracted if I were still waiting to place my order while I was trying to make this card.

We got it done and even had the chance to spend some time in the Facebook Launch Party event to show and talk about the new catalog.  That event will be ongoing until Saturday, June 10 at 9pm.  So, if you would like an invite so you can pop by and ask questions, see videos, get entered for prizes, see samples made with new product, just comment below or send an email to angelstamps@hotmail.com.

Check out the video to watch me make this card.  You can shop for the products used to create this card in my store or join my team.  If your wish list is over $100, you should think about joining my team and qualifying for a discount on your craft products.

Check out all the great new products in my store now.  Don't forget about the paper share and in color shares I'm offering from the 2017-2018 Annual Catalog.  Check out the share details here.

When you place an order June 1-10 for under $150 please use the host code.  The host code is RXWU72UV. If you order more than $150 please DO NOT use the host code and keep the rewards for yourself. Any order under $150 please use the host code and everyone who orders at least $20 worth of product (before tax and shipping) will receive a gift.

Reminder under $150.00 use host code RXWU72UV
Over $150 DO NOT USE host code so you can choose your own stampin' rewards.
