Global Design Project 089| Color Challenge

The minute I saw the colors for this weeks challenge, I knew I had to use the new Color Theory DSP Stack.  And, since I'm (not so) patiently waiting for my order from the new catalog to arrive, I'm pretty limited in what new products I have to play with this week and I wanted to play with new products.  I am having so much fun playing with the Happy Birthday thinlits die along with the products from the Color Theory Suite, that I decided to do yet another version of the card I used for my Aim for Alaska bloghop and we made in card class this month.

I used Old Olive for the card base, and chose Old Olive from the Color Theory DSP.  This time, I added a layer behind the DSP and used Basic Black for the layer and the thinlit.  I added a pop of Calypso Coral with the sentiment stamped under the DSP as well as the embellishments at the top of the card and stamps on the inside of the card.  This time, I chose to stack the Glitter Dots vertically instead of horizontally.

I'm so excited by these Birthday cards I'm making, that I'm a bit sad that my list of June birthdays is short compared to some other months.  The good news is we added a RAK Birthdays and Celebrations group so I have a few more I'll need to send out.  :)
