Every time I play with the Needlepoint Nook Suite, I am impressed with how easily and quickly I can create the look of stitching on my card without ever threading a needle I don't know about you, but I was always pricking my finger with the needle. I know I can't be the only one or they wouldn't have made thimbles. Guess I should actually wear one when I sew? My fingers sure feel better after creating a card with the Needlepoint Nook Suite and with the amazing photo realism of these elements, the detail of the stitched images makes me want to reach out and touch the thread.
For this card, I chose to use the Detailed Trio Punch to round the corners of the cardstock strip across the center of the card front. I thought it softened the edges and helped it fit the elements of the card like the sentiment punch and rounded flower petals I used my favorite die from this set to create the stitched image on the inside of the card I still wonder what would happen if I actually stitched some thread through the holes created by the die. Stay tuned--I may acually do that one day.
