Ever since I saw the sketch for this week's CAS challenge, I started thinking about the Color Theory DSP and the ombre stripes. I thought they would be perfect for the stripes in this sketch. I love all the elements of the Color Theory Suite and the fact that they make coordination so easy. I think using different shades of the same color adds just enough interest to make a monochromatic card interesting.
I chose to use the Old Olive from the Color Theory Suite and used it for all elements except the ribbon. That is Lemon Lime Twist Ombre Ribbon, but I thought it looked pretty great on this card. I used an Itty Bitty Punch from the Tutti Frutti Suite to make the tag. To see what I did, make sure you check out this week's video.
