Blended Summer Wood Doors and Wheat Wreath

It is theme week at the Global Design Project. As a small town Kansas girl I happen to have a lot of life experience with things representing country or farm life. In fact, the image that first caught my attention in the Blended Seasons Stamp Set was that of the wheat. When I first saw the theme for GDP I knew I would be using the wheat stamp.

I had made a wreath earlier this month using the Stamparatus and both the wheat and leaf images from the Blended Season stamp set. I knew this was the card I wanted to put it on. I then began trying to figure out how to create a card that might look like barn doors, when I don't have the Barn Door stamp set or thinlits. I finally settled on a gate fold card using the Wood Textures DSP. I don't know about you, but I haven't seen a lot of barns with wreaths on the doors, But, I wanted my barn door to be decorated with this wreath.

When you open the doors, you see the waving wheat peeking in the door.
