Silent Night, Holy Night

I am often inspired by my children during my creative process, sometimes so indirectly I'm not sure any of us truly realize it.  But sometimes, pretty directly.  Like the time recently my daughter told me I should make a Christmas card with a moon and stars for Silent Night. That directly got my brain to thinking about Silent Night, Holy Night and resulted in this card.  The Twinkle, Twinkle DSP is a perfect nighttime background.  But, if you don't have that DSP, Whisper White stars stamped on a Night of Navy background will work well too. The Twinkle Builder Punch used on the DSP and backed by Silver Foil gives this card some shimmer.
Punched out stars from Night of Navy and Silver Foil are adhered on the inside of the card to create that night sky.  The Star of Bethlehem is also there over the silhouette of Bethlehem at the bottom of the card to lead the way to the Christ child.

I hope you enjoyed the card inspired by my daughter.  I've decided to enter it in the Stampin' Up! Only Designer's Choice challenge.  Head on over to SUOC 204 to check out the inspiration cards by the design team and other creative entries.
