A Star Is Born

A star is born--a promise, a wish, a bright light in our world.  Not only does the birth of an actual star give us all these things, so does the birth of an infant.  The birth of an infant is cause for celebration--it brings promise, wishes, and a bright light into the corner of our world

This baby card features stars to congratulate you on the birth of the new bright star in your life.  There are circles of stars behind the tags as well as sparkling metallic silver thread  There are also stars featured on the tags on the card front as well as on the inside of the card.  This card was inspired by the Double CAS Challenge #306 but I didn't have any of the challenge colors .  So, I substituted Blackberry Bliss, Mint Macaron, and Highland Heather.  This card was also inspired by the something for baby card theme from Stamp Ink and Paper challenge #184

Make sure you head over to the challenges to see the inspiration cards by the design team and other creative entries.

  1. I really like use of the stars for a baby-themed card. The metallic thread gives your card a nice ethereal vibe. Thanks for sharing it with us at CC&S!
