Mother's Day and roses always seem to go together for me. Somehow, delicate pink roses remind me of both my grandmothers and seem appropriate for a Mother's Day card As I sat down to create this card, I realized it would fit into the Casual stamper category. That seems to probably be the type of card I am drawn to most often. I find myself using all three, but the casual card most of the time.
I stamped these roses on a Very Vanilla layer and then colored them in using ink pads and blender pens I added a ribbon and bow along with some pearls for an added touch of elegance and punched out the sentiment with the Elegant Label Punch and used dimensionals to adhere the label to the ribbon and the card front to the card base.
I then made a #simplestamping card using the same design. This time it was only using Basic Grey and Grey Granite on the Petal Pink card base to create the same soft pink roses with the same sentiment.
The card for the Avid Stamper will be coming, but Avid cards take a little bit more time to create. Keep watching this blog for the third level of stamping to show up soon.

What soft and pretty colours you've used in your lovely Mother's Day card, Angel. The ribbon finishes it off beautifully. Thanks so much for joining our Watercooler Wednesday Challenge this week.
ReplyDeleteThank you Heidi I love the softness of these colors
