It's the third full week of the month which means it's time to create a Christmas card using the featured stamp set of the month. I decided to CASE a card design by Sherri Price and tweak it a little to make a Christmas card. I changed the DSP to a Christmas design from the Under the Mistletoe DSP set. I also changed the floral wreath and used the Stamparatus to create the wreath and then colored the flowers using a blender pen and colors from the DSP I decided to use a sentiment from the Petal Palette stamp set, but you could use a Merry Christmas sentiment from a different stamp set.
Designing a Christmas card with each featured stamp set is sometimes easier than others. Sometimes, the card is complete and it doesn't really scream Christmas card to me. This is one of those cards Perhaps if I had chosen a different pattern of DSP, it would scream Christmas or perhaps if I used an actual Christmas sentiment that would have helped. The good news is I now have a card that may be used for Christmas, or could be used for any number of other occasions. It doesn't take Christmas to send a card "from the heart"
