Paper Players 368

I've been having a lot of fun playing with Christmas products today and ended up making half a dozen cards.  When I saw the tic-tac-toe for the Paper Players challenge, I was thrilled to see Christmas as one of the options and that challenge helped me make some final choices while designing this card.

I chose to make my tic-tac-toe with the first vertical column: Christmas, tree, and silver/gold.  The theme of the card is Christmas using the tree Be Merry DSP, and adding gold with the tussled thread behind the sentiment and the gold star added to a tree.

Make sure you head over to PP368 to check out the inspiration cards by the design team and other creative entries.

A new month means new specials and there is something exciting happening right now.  Stampin' Blends alcohol based markers were released today.  In honor of their release and my birthday, you get the presents.

If you place any order $25.00 or more between today and next Tuesday, November 7  by 7pm CT and use host code VYACWTW3, I will send you the color combination of two markers (dark and light) of your choice of the Stampin' Blends. If you choose skin color, I will send both Ivory and Bronze.

  1. That's a lovely watercolour/grungy background for your sentiment! I like the touches of gold, especially the little nest of thread. Thanks for joining us at The Paper Players this week.

    1. I love these stamps from the Every Good Wish Stampin' Up! set. The background is what gathers the ink and the sentiment in whatever color your paper happens to be. I love the look it creates.

  2. Angel that Christmas tree paper is a festive favourite of mine and I love how you've paired it with your watercolour-effect sentiment. Lisa your angel beat is so sweet and I just love how you've brought all the gold elements together for your fun festive card. Thanks for sharing with us over at The Paper Players this week!
