Sale abration sneak peek for PCC268

The moment I saw this sketch, I knew it needed to use the Peacock stamp set from the Sale-abration.  Ever since I first saw the Eastern Palace suite, I kept thinking I needed a peacock stamp, so you can only imagine my excitement to find one available during Sale-abration.  I knew immediately which DSP and color scheme I would use when creating this card.

The colors in the strip of DSP I choose to use helped determine which colors I would use for cardstock and ink.  I chose to use a Dapper Denim card base with Very Vanilla card front and Lemon Lime Twist horizontal strip.  I used markers to color in the peacock body stamp using Tranquil Tide and Lemon Lime Twist.  Then, I used Dapper Denim and Lemon Lime Twist for the tail feathers.  I

None of the floral stamps included in the set were large enough to create the flower I wanted on the front, so I used a retired Petite Petals punch with Lemon Lime Twist, Dapper Denim, and Tranquil Tide finished off with a Clear Faceted Gem Center.  I saved the cute little flower stamps included in the stamp set and used one to decorate the inside panel with Dapper Denim, Lemon Lime Twist, and Tranquil Tide.
