I feel like this card shows the Heavens rejoicing as well, with the swirls of color surrounding the star and I carried that swirling color into the inside of the card as well. When you see the stars, may it bring the feeling of expectation and anticipation as we know that Christmas is just around the corner.
There are times when I love to create a card featuring only stamps and ink. This card does just that. The stamps are definitely the star (Hee Hee! Nothing like a little pun to brighten your day) and the colors just accentuate them. I pulled the colors used in the atmosphere into the detail of the main star using blender pens. I want to call it a one layer card, but I did have to stamp on a layer of Whisper White for the card front so you could see the stamping since I chose a Night of Navy card base.

What a beautiful winter card. I love the large star and all the swirls surrounding it and inside. It is like Heaven rejoicing or jewels being sprinkled behind the brilliant light. Thanks for joining us at the Watercooler challenge this week.
ReplyDeleteThank you for your kind words. I'm so glad that your imagination could capture a glimpse of what my imagination was trying to portray. I love to think about Heaven rejoicing and the image of jewels being sprinkled behind the star is amazing to picture as well.
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful card, Angel. I love the way you've kept it simply white and blue. The swirls, the star, the sentiment all combine to make it magical. Love the way you've continued the theme inside as well. Thanks so much for joining our Watercooler Wednesday Challenge this week.
ReplyDeleteThank you Heidi. I'm so glad you felt the magic as well when looking at this card. It never ceases to amaze me what you can create with stamps and ink on paper.
