Shimmering Snowflakes for Your Birthday

I've been focusing on Christmas cards and gift wrapping for most of this month and I will continue to do so this week since we're down to ONE WEEK until Christmas.  But, Christmas or not, people do still have birthdays and sometimes birthday cards are needed.  So, that is what I chose to focus on today.

I really had a lot of fun making this card, especially after I decided to not only use the sketch from Just Add Ink, but also try to make a TIc Tac Toe.

 I think I managed to make THREE Tic, Tac, Toes.  All three start in the bottom, right corner with snow,  So, I have snow, pink, sequins; snow, die cut, turquoise; and snow, metallic, vellum  I chose to go with the more pastel, softer shade of the colors used to give the feeling of soft, peaceful, falling snow.  I used a card from the Merry Little Christmas Memories & More set and softened it but laying vellum on top.  The vellum was attached to the cardstock by hiding glue dots under the sequins, die cuts, and sentiment banner that is on top of the vellum.

One of my favorite things about the Memories & More kits is the stickers that you can use on the inside of the card to help tie the whole card together.
