I do realize it's April, almost May in fact. But, there's never a wrong time of year to make Christmas cards. I have made it a personal goal of mine to try to create a Christmas card from each stamp set I am featuring each month. I will be featuring the Apron of Love stamp set in May so as I was designing cards for next month, I thought about how to use this stamp set for a Christmas card.
What better way to focus on Christmas than to focus on the baking apects of this stamp set. I used the Be Merry DSP for the apron, baking mit, and strip of DSP on the front of the card. The Everyday Label punch makes an excellent cookie sheet that is just right for the gingerbread cookie from the Cookie Builder Punch. You could use the Cookie Cutter Christmas Stamp Set to give your cookie detail, but you can also use a marker if you don't have that stamp set.
I entered this card in both the Paper Players sketch challenge and Watercooler Wednesday Christmas Theme Challenge. Make sure you check out their challenge pages to see the inspiration cards by the design team and other creative entries.
