Music--My Favoirte Theme

Those who have known me for any amount of time and know anything about my life outside of papercrafting know that music is now and has always been a huge part of my life.  In fact, the first thing I look for anytime a new catalog comes out is anything music related.  I was thrilled to see the weekly challenge theme for the Paper Players is music.  :)

I still have some Merry Medley DSP so I decided to create a Christmas card for this challenge.  I was hoping to find "O Little Town of Bethlehem" among that DSP to go with the Bethlehem edgelit, but that song was not represented.  I went with "O Come Let Us Adore Him: instead.  I know I technically could have used any music background, but for my own sanity, I needed something directly related to the meaning of the design.

The inside of the card shows Mary and Joseph travelling to Bethlehem and the sentiment tells us the Him we are adoring.

Make sure you head over to The Paper Players to see the inspiration cards by the design team and other creative entries.

  1. Angel your musical Christmas card is lovely! I love the contrast of the black and white music and border behind that fabulous foil diecut. Thanks for joining us over at The Paper Players this week!
