Global Design Project 062 | Sketch Challenge

The Global Design Project this week was a sketch.  I was so excited that it reminded me of my very first NEW design--the first one I ever created out of my own brain.  So, I decided to re-tweak it to make it for this project--#GDP062

I wanted to make a fall nature scene with pumpkins, but did not have a pumpkin stamp.  So, I began looking through my stamp sets for the shapes needed to create pumpkins.  Can I just say how much I love the Swirly Birds Stamp Set.  It is so versatile and has amazing stamps that can create an infinite number of cards.  I was able to use stamps from that set to create pumpkins with stems and leaves in a patch of grass.

Here is a picture of the first attempt at this card.

For #GDP062 I made a few additions as I created my card for the Global Design Project.  Here is the card I created for the project

I added some Halloween Designer Specialty Paper, the cardstock base to Early Espresso, and the ink color to Pumpkin Pie.  I'd love some feedback on the changes.  What do you think?  Which design do you prefer?  Does it need anything else added?

Thanks for checking out my design for Global Design Project 062.  To check out the examples created by the design team and see the other entries click here: Global Design Project
