I had such a good time with the colors for this FabFri challenge. They seemed perfect to use to create a scene with a stamp set. I thought the In the City hostess set would be perfect for this challenge. I used all the colors from the challenge to create the scene changing only the cardstock and the ink colors for the houses. The outline of one house was Bermuda Bay and the other was Tangerine Twist. Both were filled with the Daffodil Delight ink.
I couldn't decide which color to use for the card base, so I made two cards. One uses Lemon Lime Twist for the card base; the other is Tangerine Tango with a layer of Lemon Lime Twist. Which do you prefer?
I really wanted to use the fireworks stamp from the In the City stamp set somewhere on this card, but thought it wasn't realistic to have fireworks while the sun was shining. So, the fireworks went on the inside of the card. :)
