The color challenge called for Powder Pink and the Bundle of Love kit uses Blushing Bride for its pink, so I chose to add the Powder Pink through cardstock layers in other ways and only use the Soft Sky side of the Bundle of Love kit for this card, but if you weren't trying to use specific colors, you could always use this same sketch with the Blushing Bride side of the Bundle of Love cards for either all or part of your design.
I thought the sentiment from the So Many Shells stamp set was perfect for this card. If you chose to use this for a baby congratulations card, it is fitting: "Miracles happen." All babies are miracles and proof that miracles do in fact happen.
Make sure you head over to the challenges to see the design inspiration and other amazing entries.

Great that you were able to combine the sketch and colours to make a super sweet baby card! Thanks so much for sharing with us this week at CC&S!
ReplyDeleteThanks. I really like when I can create a card that comblines both a sketch and color challenge
DeleteThese colors made me think to create a baby themed card, too! :) I like the bits of pink peeping out from behind the panels of your card. Very nice! Thanks for making CC&S part of your crafting time!
ReplyDeleteThanks. I loved using just a peek of the pink.
DeleteWonderful card. I like the string accent in dark blue - it helps lead the eye to the sentiment. Thanks for playing along with us at CC&S!
ReplyDeleteThank you. That is what I was hoping for. Did you notice I used the same ink color for the sentimnent?
DeleteGreat way to combine the two challenges. Thanks for joining us for the CC&S challenge.
