The minute I saw the sketch for this challenge I knew exactly what I wanted to do. Ever since I saw Patti Bennett use the Eastern Medallion Thinlits to create a sunflower, I knew that was something I wanted to CASE I even looked at pictures of sunflowers to make sure I would chose the right colors. But life gets in the way sometimes so I am once again creating last minute.
Here is my interpretation of FMS288 and the color photo I studied. I used a stamp from the Eastern Beauty stamp set to create just a pop of Cajun Craze between the petals and the center of the flower.
I am loving the new in-colors. I think Tranquil Tide was a perfect color for this project.
